We loved staying at the Marilope Hostal. They were extremely kind and friendly! Everything was explained well. The food was incredible! Dinner was fantastic with amazing yucca, traditional Cuban food and amazing Cuban wine. The whole experience was wonderful, the one that we cherish and remember forever! Pasé 3 increibles noches en Cienfuegos en al casa de Samuel, Cristina y Gabriel. Estoy muy agradecido por su atención, compañía e interesantes conversaciones. Me han enseñado a conocer las partes mas bellas de Cienfuegos y he aprendido mucho acerca de la vida en Cuba y su gente.

Our stay at Marilope Hostal was awesome. Gabriel and his parents gave us helpful information about Cuba and Cienfuegos. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. We can recommend this casa for anyone interested in Cuban culture. Rooms were clean and in perfect condition. Hicieron que la estadía en CIenfuegos, una ciudad tan linda, sea mucho mas agradable.
El desayuno de Samuel estuvo riquísimo, comprobamos que es cierta la fama de que "cocina como los dioses", su tortilla con cebolla fue de las mejores.
Esperamos volver pronto por esta linda ciudad y visitarlos. Los recomendaremos a todos los amigos que quieren dar un paseo por Cienfuegos.

Great solution when arriving to Cienfuegos when coming from the bus station as it is right in front of it. We had a great introduction of where to go into the city. We felt safe and happy being here, If we could come again we would choose this casa again. Francesca, hace 7 años
What a wonderful introduction to our first Cuban town after Havana! Gabriel and his parents, Christina and Samuel are great hosts. Listen to Gabriel, his advice is genuine and was the best to help with our travel -we avoided a night in Santa Clara by travelling there one morning returning in a taxi colectivo. The location of the casa is superb as it is near the bus + taxi stations. We enjoyed dinner with the family one night and the desayuno is great. A very warm, welcoming home and totally recommended. Gabriel's knowledge of, pride and enthusiasm for Cienfuegos is paramount. We enjoyed playing domino on our final evening. 100% recommendation to be treated as if you were at home. La habitación es muy limpio y tiene espacio para dejar las mochilas/maletas.
El baño también muy limpio, con toallas y jabón.
La familia es muy amable y nos ayudaba en todo.

We enjoyed our stay here a lot. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly. The whole family was very helpful to organize our stay in Cienfuegos as well as our further travel. I liked to stay here the last 3 days. A big advantage the english skills, so a good communication was possible. The family is very friendly and helpful.
